A Better Government (Part 2)

Answer This Question

In the last post, I promised we would get the so-called “bad guys” out of office. Let’s unseat these corrupt, power-mad, inept politicians and replace them with wise, efficient, selfless leaders. You and I can do this, but first answer this question. Who made them?

Be careful how you answer because there’s only one correct answer. Any other answer denies God as the only Presence. Here’s the correct answer: They never were made. God Identified is the only Identity. This Truth aligns completely with God’s Allness.

There’s A Snake — Or Is It?

No one can deny that these crooked, corrupt hacks do seem to exist, and their appearance does seem convincingly real. But, judging by appearances, a rope has often been mistaken for a snake. However, a closer look reveals the supposed snake to be nothing more than a coiled rope.

Similarly, a closer look at those villains sitting in positions of power reveals the living Christ (the living Presence of God). Some people, who were too afraid to take a closer look, still believe a snake was coiled in the corner of the garage. Are you too afraid to take a closer look at your “snakes” in government? Are you too afraid to be wrong? Too afraid to see that your snakes were mis-perceived ropes?

Let’s get to the point of this post. Since divinity is the Reality of every Identity, you can pull that divinity into visibility by keeping your focus on the Truth of any Identity. How do you think Practitioners heal? The bigger question is: Are you willing to focus on the Reality of your “snakes?” If you’re willing, here are a few suggestions on how to proceed.

Just A Few Suggestions

#1

This first step is a must: Forgive yourself. Forgive yourself for believing that any government (or leaders in government) has power over your well-being (or the well-being of anyone). You profess that God is the only Power, then let it be so.

#2

Next, ask yourself, “Am I willing to drop my human estimation of all leaders in government?” Note the word “willing.” If your answer is “No,” you can stop reading now.

If your answer is “Yes,” take the political leader and government official(s) that concern you most. [As an aside, my choice is Kim Jong Un.] If it helps, call them by name, and say, “As God is the only Presence, I am willing to perceive your Identity as God Identified.” If you can’t wrap your heart around that, how’s this? “I am willing to behold you in the image and likeness of Love, Light, Peace, and Intelligence – all that God Is.”

#3

Here’s the last step. During one of your prayer periods, take any government leader into your prayer and ask “your” God-Consciousness, “Tell me who this Identity called __________ really is. What is his/her true nature?” Listen for the answer. God will reveal the true nature of this Identity. You may have to do this many times, but it is worth it.

You may be more inclined to take a whole body of government and ask, “What is the Truth about this body of government that I need to know?”

Will this do any good? Will this have any effect on the government where you live? Yes! As stated earlier, when you discover, acknowledge and hold fast to one’s True Identity, you will pull it into visibility. However, no change has happened. The changeless I AM simply revealed Itself.

Should you follow the suggestions above, I promise the benefits will be more than satisfactory – even if those in power are replaced by more suitable government officials.

The true litmus test is not what seems to happen “out there,” but what happens in your perception. Your perception of government and government leaders will change, and that change will be consistent with God being the only Presence and Power. No longer will you judge by appearances. You will judge by God’s Allness.

The Books and How To Read Them

All over the world, people are buying Sounds of the Trumpet and God is All. Both books are having an uptick in sales. To piggyback on this wonderful activity, I decided to write this post on how to get the most out of these books. Although I think it’s a great idea to read each book from cover to cover, your busy schedule may not permit that. So, below are my suggestions for the must-reads from both books.

God Is All

I know that you want your prayers to be effective – to yield practical results. Perhaps you, like many others, have tried many ways of praying and none of them “worked.” God is All can, I assure you, help you to pray more effectively.

Because this book is a short read, the temptation is to start with Chapter 1 and read to the end. Don’t do it. I suggest that you start with Chapter 3: Conscious Awareness. This chapter is the foundation for an effective spiritual practice, and it addresses most of your prayer questions, such as:

  • What is prayer?
  • How to pray?
  • How to pray when you have so many things to pray about?
  • What constitutes effective prayer?

After you’ve read Chapter 3, go back to Chapter 1. The order in which you read the remaining chapters is up to you.

Sounds of the Trumpet

This is a longer book with shorter chapters. If I renamed this book, the title would be Spirituality Made Practical. Many of the 30-plus chapters address issues you face in daily life. Each chapter is great and has its own merit. However, for your convenience I made a list below of must-read chapters.

Spiritual Living Day By Day

This is the first chapter of Sounds of the Trumpet. It is a basic primer on living Truth principles every waking hour. The Holy Bible states, “Thou shalt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee.” This chapter gives you tips on how to do that.

David And Goliath (1 and 2)

These two chapters reveal a spiritual approach to resolving any problem. The magnitude of the problem does not matter.

Rebuilding The Immune System

For the last few years, immunity has been a hot topic. From herbal concoctions to questionable shots, people are trying to stay disease-free. This chapter deals with total immunity – from disaster as well as disease.

Heavenly Bliss

How do you effectively restore a fractured or broken relationship? What is the key to trouble-free relationships? This chapter gives a failproof answer to these questions.

Thomas

This disciple doubted that Christ rose from the dead and demanded proof. Now he is known as “Doubting Thomas.”  This chapter reveals that the Thomas mindset can be a good thing. It can make the difference between merely reading Truth and seeing the visible evidence of Truth.

The Temple Of God

This chapter is about your Body. And what a wonderful Body it is! Yes, this chapter deals with the real nature of your Body as a spiritual presence.

CONCLUSION

Whichever book and chapters you read, remember this: THESE BOOKS ARE TO BE LIVED AND NOT MERELY READ.
