Regarding the recent destruction and wreckage of hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Jose, and Maria, an enlightened reader asked this question: “What do you say to someone who is suffering because they do believe that havoc and destruction have washed away their house and caused the death of a loved one?”
It’s a great question, and here’s why. Many people who know that God is All seem to experience torturous inner turmoil when their eyes (and other senses) report that some horrific activity is going on that defies the allness of God. What do you say when so many people are believing the report of their eyes and ears? What do you say to someone who appears to be the victim?
Truth is not cold and heartless. Truth is as comforting as a thick wool blanket on a cold winter’s night. Of course you cannot say the Truth – it never happened. But you can, if need be, say the right thing.
The answer to the reader’s question is simple. It doesn’t matter what you say. It matters what you know. Before you say a word, ask yourself “Am I knowing (and not merely mouthing words) that God is All?” If your answer is an absolute “Yes,” you will know what to say, and when to say it.
In answering “Yes, I do know that God is All,” do you think a human identity can do that? It can’t. It is God, as you, answering with such unwavering certainty. Therefore, it is Love answering. As Love, you will say and do the loving thing. Sometimes that loving thing is to say and do nothing. Nothing! Stand firm knowing God is All.
Wherever you are reading this post, stop and look around you. Soak in the environment. If you can step outside, do so. Look around you. Reader, this world that you are looking at is the world where God is All. This is the world where there is only One Presence, One Power, and One Identity.
Many people say, “Allen I know God is the only presence and power.” Yet, let them keep talking and the conversation steers toward clashes in the home, clashes on the job, body aches, healthcare, bullies, how bad things have gotten, etc. Although they say God is the only Presence, their words reveal that they live in another world where God is not all.
Yes, reader, I know it appears (to some) that this is a material world, but it is not. I know it looks like material laws hold sway, but they do not.
This world you are moving, living and breathing in is God being All. Truth-be-told, this is the world where God is both the seer and the seen. When I think about this so-called world, I often refer to it as a ready-to-take-out-the-oven, fully-baked world. It’s finished, complete, perfect and lacking nothing. This “world” is Perfection Itself – What a Wonderful World.
Reader, as soon as you are able, take a moment to contemplate what is presented in this post. Listen for further Revelation. The Revelations that come forth will be many and wonderful.
To get the full impact of this short post, pause and look around you. If you can, go to a nearby window and look outside. Look at the world.
This world that you see is the very world where God is All. Now, I am asking that you say (aloud), “This right here is the world where God is the only Presence and the Only Power. This world right here is the Allness of God.” Trust me, there is a method to my madness.
Reader, here’s why I asked you to do this. With heartfelt sincerity people often profess, “I know that God is the only Presence, but ….” It’s the “but” that betrays their belief that either there is another world (and usually they’re in it) where God is not All, or that in this world there is another presence and power other than God.
There is no other world!
The world that you see, right now, is the only world there is. It is the world where God Is All. This is the world that is constituted of Love and Perfection.
Despite the appearances of wars, violent hatred and shortages, this is the One World – the literal Kingdom of Heaven. It may look like a world of matter, but it is not. It may seem as though the world is going to hell in a gasoline basket, but it’s not. It may appear as though material laws hold sway. They don’t.
In this world, God is both the seer and the seen. Contemplate this fact. As my mother used to say, “It will do you a world of good.” For the next seven days, contemplate all of the Truths in this article. The revelations and experiences that come forth will be WONDERFUL.
