“With all thy getting get understanding.”
These are the words of Solomon from the Book of Proverbs.
Because you are reading this blog, I know you rank spiritual understanding somewhere up there near breathing and eating — or at least in your top 5 priorities.
Spiritual Understanding Made Easy
Reader, don’t you feel there is something unnatural — something wrong — with this lifelong pursuit of spiritual understanding? Don’t you wish, if not think, that spiritual understanding should be as effortless as eating and breathing? If you feel this way, you are onto something BIG. Spiritual understanding should be easy and effortless, and it is. Keep reading.
- Spiritual understanding is not something to be sought like a university degree. It is not something to be found like dollars on a sidewalk. Spiritual understanding (the understanding of the Spirit of God) is God knowing Itself. This being so, spiritual understanding is the natural and normal state of the entire Universe. (That sentence is begging you for quiet contemplation.) Spiritual understanding is an eternal constant. Spiritual understanding is not what you get; it is what you are. You are God Knowing Itself in living, loving action.
- The value of silent prayer, where there is no aim to fix and repair, is that in a moment of stillness your natural understanding asserts itself. You know as God knows, because you consciously experience God knowing Itself as your Self. So in all matters of Spirit, relax. There is no understanding out there to get, but there is plenty to let. Paul said, “Let that same mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus…” It already is. Just let it announce Itself.
Put Your Heart Into This For Seven Days
For the next seven days, try contemplating these two statements:
- Spiritual Understanding is Omnipresent.
- I Am Spiritual Understanding.
Contemplating these two ideas will open up a floodgate of Revelation. Some spiritual facts will be startlingly clear to you and force you to reconsider this wonderful world. Try it and see!
