News To Know

Dying Is Profitable

Whatever you do, please don’t fork out $2,000 for my second book Sounds of the Trumpet. Sounds crazy, I know, but after I “died” (according to rumor), used copies of my first book God Is All sold on Amazon.com for thousands. Once it was discovered that I’m very much alive, prices dropped back to normal.

No More Books

I’m writing this post to inform you that Sounds of the Trumpet is no longer available for purchase. As many of you know, Mystics of the World has shuttered. They were the life support for Sounds after it abruptly went out of print. Until further notice, only used copies are available. News like this has used booksellers swarming cyberspace like vultures hoping to make a quick profit. Don’t buy at an inflated price! Wait until we’re back in print again.

It Wasn’t Supposed To Be This Way

It was not supposed to be this way. I had high hopes for Sounds. I expected it to be more popular than God is All. Sounds was supposed to be the darling of all its distributors (more so than God is All). Rather than being an underground success like the first book, I really thought Sounds was going to go mainstream. Despite its auspicious beginning, none of this happened.

Unlike the self-published God is All, Sounds of the Trumpet was published by Big Sur in the United Kingdom. Things went sour very quickly. A foreign publisher and a stateside distributor is not the ideal combination. I never made a dime from the publisher who eventually shut down.

Why did I expect so much from Sounds? Of my two books, it’s my favorite. And that’s only because it shows the practicality of the Absolute in just about every conceivable situation. One reader recently described it as “one of the great books,” and I agree.

Here’s How You Can Help

Reader, please know, along with me, that Sounds of the Trumpet will “find” the ideal publisher to put it in the hands of interested readers at a decent price.

What Are These Evil Appearances?

itsallgood

Appearances Of Evil Alert You To The Reality Of Perfection

Let’s now perceive how it is, and why it is, that any appearance of evil is not evil – that it really serves a good purpose. If the fulfillment of any purpose is good, the impulsion behind this purpose has to be good, and not evil. The mistake lies in our misconception of the meaning of that which we have called evil.

Just as a mistake in mathematics calls your attention to the perfect mathematical fact, so it is that any appearance of evil serves to call your attention to some specific aspect of good, or God. God is Perfection; thus Perfection is a universal as well as a specific fact. Any appearance of imperfection serves to call your attention to the perfect Principle, which is Perfection.

Evil Can Only Be Troublesome If You Think It Is Real

A mistake can seem to be troublesome, or evil, only so long as it is mistaken for a fact. One your attention is focused upon the perfect fact, the mistake is canceled. It simply vanishes.

You do not resist the mistake (evil). You do not attempt to overcome it, or to oppose it. You know it to be a mistake, and that ends it as far as you are concerned. The seeming evil served its purpose, and your attention is now focused upon the perfect Principle. You keep your attention focused upon the universal and the specific fast until the evidence of this fact is apparent.

You can never make a figure 5 become a figure 4. Neither can you make an appearance of imperfection become perfect. Your awareness of Perfection is the revelation and the evidence of that which is revealed.

You Are Always Abundantly Supplied

For example, it may appear that an appearance of lack seems to be present. This is not evil. Rather, it should be considered as merely the signal signifying the presence of infinite, omnipresent Supply, which means that you will immediately contemplate the universal fact – omnipresent Supply.

When you are constantly and consciously attentive to the perfect fact – and only this fact – the evidence of its presence is inevitable.

Who Will Win The 2017 Abby Award?

award

The Creation Of The Abby Award

The Master of Ceremonies opens the envelope and announces “And the ‘Abby’ goes to ….”

Let’s back up to the beginning. In my mind I picture a new awards show. In America you have the Oscar, Grammy and Emmy awards. In France, you have the Prix Goncourt. In the United Kingdom there is the BAFTA awards. All of these represent excellence in a certain field. But what about the field of Absolute writers and publishers. Deserving folk in this genre should be recognized too. So, I’ve created (in my wildest imagination) the Abby Award for writers and publishers of the Absolute.

[Back to the show]

As I write, the judges are tallying up the votes. I’m on edge waiting for the unknown man in the tuxedo to hand the envelope to the Master of Ceremonies. He walks onto the stage and hands the envelope to the elegantly gowned MC. After opening the envelope, she pauses and then announces, “And the Abby Award goes to Mystics of the World (M.O.W.).” Smiles light up the room.

Mystics Of The World Is Our Fairy Godmother

For over a decade, Mystics of the World has been the fairy godmother for authors of the Absolute. Authors like Jane Woodward found a publishing angel in Mystics of the World (Denice Jutras). Her books are excellent but too small to be considered by traditional publishers.

My story is simple. God Is All enjoyed excellent distribution by DeVorss and sold very well in the United States and Canada. Once Mystics of the World put the book in their catalog, God Is All started circulating in India, New Zealand, Africa, United Kingdom and Brazil.

If you want a book by Lillian DeWaters, Vivian May Williams, Marie Watts, or Paul Gorman, where do you turn? Mystics of the World.

The Marie Watts Project

Recently M.O.W. embarked on an ambitious project to reprint all of the books of Marie Watts so that they are all traditionally sized and bound. That project is almost complete, and many of Watts’ books are now available through Mystics of the World and Amazon.com. Visit their site to see what winks at you. Here are my recommendations of Marie Watts’ books:

  • Three Essential Steps
  • Your Eternal Identity
  • Questions And Answers From The Word
  • Success Is Normal

Congratulations Mystics of the World on your Abby award.
