There Are No Hopeless Conditions

Lately, I’ve heard too many stories about people ready to make their transition. In most cases, a crippling or fatal disease is involved. In other cases it’s the (seeming) decline of an aging body. For those who are tempted to throw in the towel, I hope you find inspiration from this excerpt of The Finished Kingdom by Lillian DeWaters.

A friend from North Carolina writes, that after years of both mental and bodily suffering from troubles for which there seemed to be no relief, “death, that great nightmare of the phantom world,” came to claim him. At that moment he was suddenly lifted into the plane above and recognized the nothingness of death. Directly over the head of his bed rested a great halo of a billiant, soft light, brighter than any electric light that he had ever beheld.

He declares there was spiritual or supernal force in the room that was irresistible, drawing him up and on, and making clear to him that, in reality, he had never been sick; that he lived, moved and had his being in God’s kingdom right here and now; that this is Life’s glorious city of New Jerusalem. The room seemed filled with the “water of Life” flowing in every direction and filling his consciousness with divine joy and inspiration. Then, the vision ceased; he opened his eyes, knew that he was healed, and arose from what had seemed his death-bed – whole. He declared that for days afterward, he felt as though he were walking on air, he seemed so light and free and glorious.

Many days of seemingly hopeless contemplations of Truth preceded this wonderful experience. Yet, as the story proves, those contemplations were not in vain.

This Will Assure You Of A Great Year

Which Would You Rather Be?

She describes it as an astonishing Revelation that shifted her entire viewpoint on knowing Truth. The Revelation: “I am the Principle and not a student at all.”

Before this inner discovery, Lillian DeWaters said she was alone, considering the plight of the math student. DeWaters reasoned that students of mathematics would always face an endless round of problems. Suddenly she cried out, “O’ to be the Principle instead of the student.”

Like a streak of lightning, it flashed in her consciousness – “I am the Principle and not a student at all.” Of course her actual discovery was: I am the Principle of Truth and not the student of Truth.

Basking in this discovery, she often reminded herself, “I am not trying to do, to think or to know something; but I am doing, feeling and being the Truth of Life and the Way.” Every area of DeWaters’ life was touched and polished by this grand discovery: I AM THE PRINCIPLE OF TRUTH.

Do This One Thing For A Great Year

Reader, I know that you want this so-called new year to be a magnificent year. At the very least, you would like some assurance that this year will be a great year. It can be. Here is the way: MAKE ONE SPIRITUAL DISCOVERY THIS YEAR.

Not something read. Not something heard. This discovery must rise from the vast ocean of Truth that is your Consciousness. It may be a quiet bubble of realization, or it may flash like a streak of lightning. One thing is for sure. Your viewpoint will make a wonderful shift. You’ll “see” everything and everyone through the lens of this discovery. Without lifting a finger, astonishing things will happen. To so-called others, it will look like lady luck is finally smiling on you. Yet you will know that it simply is the Kingdom of Heaven revealing Itself more clearly.

How To Proceed

Are you wondering how to proceed? It starts with a desire to know and experience more Truth (God) than your present knowledge and experience. Then, with this desire as your motivation, you take a deep dive (via listening prayer) into the unchartered depths of your God Consciousness. Pearls of discovery await you. And, so does a great year – perhaps your best ever.

The Incredible Joy Of Forgiveness

hugging and forgiveness

This excerpt is from Light of the Eternal by Lillian DeWaters. All of her publications are available at Mystics of the World.

The Joy Of Forgiveness

Who has forgiven another and not felt the softness of the Eternal steal over him like the breath of Heaven, bringing him Peace, Light and Joy…

Do You Find It Hard To Forgive?

Some people find it hard to forgive. This is only because they do not know the Way of forgiveness, and are trying of their personal selves to attain to it.

Of course it is impossible. They may pray long and earnestly to be able to forgive, they may be sincere and honest, but in their hearts they know that such forgiveness has not come, and they remain ignorant of the Way it is to be accomplished.

Personal Sense Is The Culprit

The reason one finds himself unable to forgive another – despite his true desire to do so – is that he is seeing the OTHER as a human being who has wronged him, and HIMSELF as the one who has been wronged.

This Is Forgiveness That Works

From this state of separateness, never can one see truly how to forgive. First, let him see spiritually Identifying both himself and the other as Identities of the Perfect Self – which is the infinite I AM – he will be stirred from within to know he must not harbor such darkness any longer. His whole desire will be to see as the Infinite only. NOTHING WILL REMAIN TO BE FORGIVEN.

When we cross out personal sense entirely – by abandonment of it – we shall see no sickness or sin to be healed.

Those of us who know by way of crystal Illumination, see the imperishable World of Beauty, Peace and Love. With the crossing out of all sense of the personal, there shall come from us the momentous words – Forgive them.”

It’s Not Enough To Say Evil Has No Power

God Is All

This excerpt is from The Understanding Series by Lillian DeWaters. It is available from Mystics of The World.

What Is A False Belief

A false belief is really no belief at all. What is called a false belief should never be associated with evil in any way, for there is no evil in it – there is nothing in it. For instance the false belief, or assumption, that two and two are five, has nothing in it, no reality or substance or existence. Can you see this to be so?

Nothing Plus Nothing Equals Nothing

Too often a thing is reasoned out to be “just a false belief,” nevertheless it is looked upon as evil, and thought to have power and presence. It must be seen that a false belief, or falsity of any kind, is not evil – that which is nothing is nothing.

There’s No Place Left For Evil

Evil cannot and does not exist in Mind, thought, or body, since all these are in and of Spirit, God, and cannot exist anywhere else. Evil cannot exist as illusion, delusion, dream, spectrality, matter, deception, cause, effect, or false belief, for the reason that such as these are utterly without substance, or presence, thus non-existent.

The True Demonstration

What then constitutes a “demonstration,” or what is there to demonstrate over? Surely one cannot demonstrate over any condition, nor over a dream, deception, or false belief! The need is for one to become aware of the Truth, aware that he is the Self, and that there is nothing in or of him that can be anything else.

Never seek out new methods whereby to heal disease, griefs, or limitations. Seek only for fuller understanding whereby to disprove their existence, and their continuance in appearance, based upon the awareness and understanding that evil cannot come for God, nor from anything else!

Don’t Shortchange Yourself

This excerpt is by Lillian DeWaters from her pamphlet The Time Is At Hand.

Why Do This To Yourself?

Why stop at saying that the Truth of things is perfect and that Heaven is Perfect in Itself, when it is your self, your body and your experience which you wish to see picture forth the “Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory?”

Open your vision to the fact that there is only one Being, and that this is your Being. For Being is not dual. Claim the completeness, the infinity, the perfection of your entire Being which includes your Body

Hold The High Watch

All creation is ideal, lovely, enchanting and satisfying. There are really no “others,” for in your universe you stand as one with all. In such realization of Yourself as The One there is no mistake to be corrected, no sickness to be healed, no person to be redeemed.

The seeming problem disappears: simply to withdraw from all belief of duality, multiplicity and sense of otherness, and to hold the High Watch, brings instead the vision of the completeness and infinity of all Good, all Health, all Abundance, all Joy now here and anywhere.

In proportion as one can rise to perform this act of the Truth can he fulfill the commission “Heal the sick and raise the dead.” And who are the sick? Who are the dead? Verily, who can they be and where can they exist if the Self be ALL? The commission is fulfilled in Revelation.

One Day The Voice Spoke Clearly

I prayed and prayed unceasingly
To The Unknown God in the sky;
But only the silence answered me
And gave no heed to my cry.

I pleaded with such earnestness,
And never wondered why
No message came to comfort me
Or tell me ‘Who Am I?’

Then one day the Voice spoke clearly,
“I AM God, not man, It said
Eagerly my heart responded,
All thought left me, reason fled,
I Am God, not man, I said.

What Are You Saying That You Are Seeing?

I could hear that his heart was in every word when he said, “Allen, I’m sick and tired of seeing sickness and death. I just don’t know what to do.” If you were listening in, you would have rolled on the floor laughing at my feeble attempts to answer him. I was having a hard time because I was trying to be sensitive to his seeming plight, and at the same time share a word of Truth. No one says what I was trying to say better than Lillian DeWaters in her book “The Time Is At Hand.” Below is the excerpt – a long excerpt.

When, apparently, one sees injury and hears discord are his senses reporting correctly and truly or are they reporting otherwise? Does the reader feel capable of answering this question readily, accurately and understandingly?

Some say, “My physical senses are reporting inharmony but my spiritual senses are recognizing Reality.” Now those who speak of the Senses as being physical are in need of deeper insight and a scientific mode of expression.

Another may answer, “My senses are spiritual, but they are reporting untruly, for they are seeing an accident.” Here one is deciding inconsistently, for how could perfect Senses report imperfectly?

The facts are these: The spiritual Senses (and there are no others), are always reporting correctly and truly, for Perfection is forever manifesting and registering Perfection.

Someone asks, “When I see an accident are not my eyes telling me so? Are they not witnessing the injury?” No. Your Eyes, being spiritual and perfect, are seeing no accident whatsoever.

If while walking in the twilight, one mistakes a post for a tramp are his eyes reporting the post or the tramp? Pictured on the eyes is the post, for this is what is present. The eyes are not reporting a tramp, for the simple reason that none is present.

Likewise, when one reports that the coiled shape on the floor is a serpent his eyes are not deceived. His eyes are seeing the rope but his mind is falsifying the evidence.

Turn again to the original question which was this: When, apparently, one sees injury and hears discord are his senses reporting correctly and truly or are they reporting otherwise? Now clearly discern its correct answer which is: “My Senses are reporting truly and correctly, and they are seeing and hearing the Glory and Harmony of the perfect Universe.

It is erring mind, or human sense, (not Senses), which weaves the illusion, just as when the picture of a tramp appears instead of the actual outline of the post. Since it(human sense) believes in accidents, in injuries and disasters the mind declares that it seems them, but it is practicing a deception upon itself, and is thus a victim to its own illusions.

Human Nonsense

let there be light allen white

This excerpt is taken from LIGHT by Lillian DeWaters

Spirit is our only Self, I or ME — boundless, immeasurable, timeless, spaceless, incorporeal. There is no mortal, human or material being, mind, self or body. There is but “ME” — IAM the One who is Real and Present.

When this new Revelation is seen and accepted, there will be no more sickness, sorrow, disease, pain or death. As the belief and teaching that we are mortals, humans or mankind is done away with, there will be no misbelief, misconception, erring teaching or wrong thinking.

Seeing that the One Self, “I” or “ME” reigns alone, and that there can be no other identity — whether as mind, consciousness or body — each one should reject and discard the beliefs and teachings which identify oneself as man, humanity or mankind; for within this very identification lies the subjection to suffering, disease and limitation.

Our deliverance, therefore, is not from suffering, worry, fear or old age, but that one ceases to believe or accept that he is a mortal or human being, and that his body is material or physical.

Pray Effectively For Others – DeWaters (Top-Ten)

wat

Years ago, a woman named Laura ( a long-time “student” of Lillian DeWaters) sent me nearly a hundred personal letters from Lillian DeWaters plus a hardback book that nearly fit in the palm of my hand. The book was Who Am I? Short and sweet best describes the book. One chapter, however, stands out as an oak among orchids: There Is No Other. Below is most of that chapter.

thumb

Who is Mary? Who is John? Who is James? Who is Martha? Verily, I Am all; all is I. Perfection is all! All is Perfection. The One Selfhood is all; all is the One Selfhood.

Is there any beside Me? Yea, I know not any. There is no other. There is none else.

Therefore, any ignorant Mary, any sick John, and sinful James, any limited Martha, is not present. Thou shalt consider none but Me. Thou shalt believe in no other. Thou shalt consider no other.

For instance, if one believes that he sees someone in ignorance, sickness, sin or limitation, who then needs the help–the “other” or oneself? Oneself. So far as anyone is concerned with a problem, he need consider only his own Consciousness.

If there is but one Selfhood, perfect and complete, let one ask himself, Who then is sick? Who then is ignorant? Who then is sinful or in limitation? And what must the answer be? No one in God’s perfect Selfhood.

How, then, shall one proceed? First–Take all attention from the form or entity named John or Mary. Next–enter into communication with your Self. Ask your-Self questions and your-Self will answer them. For instance–Just what should I be seeing? The Answer will be–Is there anything or anyone to see but the Real and the True? Then you may say, But what about John or Mary? And the Self will answer– I Am all there is of John. I Am all there is of Mary. There is none but Me.

Ever, one’s concern is only with himself–that he function solely as the One, and no other.

Know What You Need To Know, When You Need To Know It

Questions Sign Allen White God Is All

Below is an excerpt from Joel Goldsmith’s Infinite Way. This same idea has been written by Marie Watts and Lillian DeWaters.

Have A Problem? Here’s What To Do

Whenever we are faced with a problem, regardless of its nature, seek the solution within your own consciousness. Instead of running around here and there, instead of seeking an answer from this or that person, instead of looking for the solution outside of yourself, turn within.

Your Perfect Answer Is Assured

In the quiet and calm of your own mind, let the answer to your problem unfold itself. If, the first or second or third time you turn in peace to the kingdom within, you fail to perceive the completed picture, try again. You will not be too late, nor will the solution appear too late. As you learn to depend on this means for the working out of your problems and experiences, you will become more and more adept in quickly discerning your mind’s revelation of harmony.
